About us

Rust and Thread started as a way to fuel my obsession with vintage clothing. What began as me buying and flipping pieces just to keep my own wardrobe fresh, quickly turned into something more. After a year of selling on Depop, Vinted, and eBay, I realised how many people were just as passionate about vintage and slow fashion as I was - so I decided to go all in. I’ve been sourcing and selling vintage for the last two years, focused on 90s/2000s style and workwear staples. Rust and Thread is all about making quality vintage accessible to everyone - with prices that are actually fair. I believe fashion shouldn’t be disposable, and that fast fashion is killing creativity, sustainability, and real personal style. Trends shouldn’t change every two weeks, and clothes shouldn’t end up in landfill after one wear. This is a one-woman operation, launched through a placement year enterprise scholarship. I've got one year to build my brand so BUY BUY BUY.
